Allan Ellinger is the Founder and Senior Managing Partner of MMG Advisors, a 35-year-old investment banking advisory firm focused on the consumer products sector. He has played a central role in building and transforming the practice from its original turnaround and restructuring roots into one of the leading full-service M&A firms serving the fashion and consumer products industries. Since 1989, Allan and MMG Advisors have led hundreds of engagements, including restructurings, sell-side assignments, and buy-side investment banking transactions.

A respected fashion industry insider, Allan is also a dedicated advocate for social responsibility. He is the Founder and former Chairman of Fashion Delivers, which merged with K.I.D.S. in 2013 to form Delivering Good, an organization he continued to chair through 2018. In addition, Allan has served on the Board of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City Accountants & Bankers Division, the Fashion Division of UJA-Federation of New York, and as a Board member of the American Apparel & Footwear Association.

In recognition of his longstanding leadership and impact on the industry, Allan received the Trailblazer Award at the 2024 AAFA American Image Awards. In 2025, he was further honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the MR Awards, held on July 21, 2025, at Gotham Hall in New York City.​
